For all those that still believe in Americans rights to question their governing body

Original post by heidla

As far I know I still believe that we as Americans have a right, better yet a responsibility, to question our elected officials. Just as those who support our current administration have the right to voice their support, we have the right to voice our dissent. This is America. The fact that we are allowed to do such a thing is part of what makes this nation so great.

So, feel free to post whatever you wonder about our administration past and present.

Agreed. While I don't agree with the bashing (i.e. personal attacks, childish digs) I firmly stand by the freedom to express dissension.

One of my all-time favorite quotes sums up how I feel:

You want free speech? Let's see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil who is standing center stage advocating at the top of his lungs that which you would spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours.
-President Andrew Shepherd in The American President

We live in the greatest country in the world.

I just wish other countries respected us more. We seem to have a pretty bad rep in other parts of the world
