What was your favorite gift? And did you receive anything you really disliked, had no use for or/and didnt undertstand why someone got it for you.

Just curious!

My favorite gift was my pot set, I really wanted my kitchen aid but the pot set is something I really need.

I didn't receive anything I disliked, 98% of my guests stuck to the registry, so it was all things I wanted.

Oh yeah I got 2 crockpots and 2 dinnerware sets, so I guess I would say I disliked that.

I LOOOOVE my kitchen aid mixer and my bedding!!!!!


i got a few duplicates....like ppl bought them in a store I wasn't registered for so I got that one and the one I registered for (i.e. i got 2 crock pots, 2 toaster ovens, 2 ice buckets, lol)

loved my new everyday dishes, china, bedding, pots & pans and towels lol.

all my guests pretty much stuck to the registry and i only got one duplicate gift. there wasn't anything that i really disliked... except for a couple things thrown in the wishing well that it looked like people found around their house and decided to give me lol.

Ummmm I have a TON of favorite gifts:

My sisters bought me an AWESOME diamond and garnet ring!
My mom bought ALL of my fine silverware!
My FMIL and FSIL bought ALL of my china!
My BP bought ALL of my linens and fine crystal!

On FH's list:

ETA: My dad's cousin bought me this HUGE lenox vase......I'm not exactly the biggest fan

i loved ALL my gifts.. flat screen tv, kitchen aid mixer, ice cream maker, slow cooker

i got an aweeeeeeeeeful THROW with pictures of coyotes on it .

my favorite gift was our Tiffany toasting flutes that my sister/MOH purchased for us. i had no idea that FH told her which they where. completely unexpected gift.

FHs favorite gift was a new tea kettle.

our joint favorite gift was a beautiful Lenox serve platter that a friend gave us. we already said its going to serve our Thanksgiving turkey for the rest of our lives.


we received a lot of gifts we didn't register for. two tied as worst gift received.
1. Bullet Express System - its a blender, juicer, food processor all in one, which would be great but we already have all of those products. (thats why we didn't register for any of them ) & to top it off it was purchased off TV so we can't return it. & even better my moms Aunt gave it to us & she will not let me tell her we can't use it.
2. Farberware Pots set - FH only cooks with Cuisinart Pots, what we registered for but my Aunt decided that since my cousin burnt all of her cuisinart pots that farberware pots would be better for us. I still have to call her to ask for the receipt.
