For any DIY ladies...(need suggestions)

I'm having some difficulty. I'm trying to make lets say favor tags, table numbers and placecards on powerpoint. I took the sugeestion from here to make it bigger than the actual size and save as a jpg. Fine i did that BUT when I print what i made on Jpg. it doesn't show up as clear as it should be. Where have I gone wrong? Any Suggestion? Please help

TIA

you have to redo the artwork. When you open up a page or new project go to page setting or page size and set it to what you really want the end product to be. Lets say a 3' by 3' tag set your page to that size then do your artwork. When you export to a jpg make sure it is HIGH Quality.

you might be able to save it as a .bmp file... if you use MSPaint.. or copy and paste to MSpaint and save as a .bmp file it wouldn't look like that...

A bitmap file might be too large for some programs. If you'd like FM me and I can have some of my students play with it tomorrow. They're freakin geniuses and we all have photoshop in the lab.

I ordered tags (they are really business cards) from vistaprint.com they came out awesome!! When you sign up for them they give you 250 free!! You just pay shipping, they have tons of selections or you could upload your own image!! So much less stress than trying to do it yourself!! I also ordered note cards & postcards from them, everything came out great!! Good luck!!
