For anyone using ebay to purchase tiaras/veils...
Just thought I would pass this on....
I tried to buy a tiara through eden jewel. It was $18 for the 'buy now' price and $16.95 was the starting bid. I decided to 'buy now' but my payment screen kept coming up with an error. SO i called eden jewel directly to place the order. Guess what? The tiara was $11 through them directly. The rep told me herself that the buy now price can be inflated b/c well, people will pay it to have it then instead of bidding. BUT the bidding start price was even higher! Weird.
I don't know if this is the case with other vendors....but calling them directly ended up saving me 10 bucks after shipping and all else. Just wanted to pass it on! Although ebay can be great, in some cases buying direct may be better.
