What kind are you using. How are they attachign to your hari? Did you have to ask the florsit for anything special or give special instructions to the hairdreser.
I can't find hair pins for my bridesmaids, am considering flowers instead. ( yes, they have to wear something in their hair , don't even ask )
I just want to know how this works.
TIA

Re: ? for anyone wearing flowers in their hair
I wanted to, but the florist gave me 101 reasons why not...I think she just didn't want to do it!!! Every flower I mentioned, she said they weren't hearty enough. A good florist should be able to suggest something for you and attach it to a comb.

I have seen garden roses done, and I would think they are 'hearty' enough-this is what I am planning on doing, although I have heard that many florists are not keen on doing hair flowers.

Thanks ladies. That's what I feared. The florsit & the hairdreser probabaly won't like this idea.

Re: ? for anyone wearing flowers in their hair
Other than baby's breath, I don't know what kind of flowers to use. But I was thinking of putting stephanotis in my MOH's hair... but I hear they are delicate... not sure though.... maybe spray roses would work??? if flowers aren't 'hearty' enough to wear in your hair, then why do they have awesome hair pics w/flowers like this!!
My florist for the reception said Orchids wre hearty & suggested them for Grandma's coursages. But that isn't the look I want for teh bridemaids. I'm back to looking at combs & pins.
