For Anyone Who Has Already Booked HM

FH and I went to travel agent today to book HM and we left a reserve on it...which leads me to my question We are going to book but we wanted to discuss the vacation insurance that travel agents offer and try to tell you to buy. It really can jack up the price and we are really unsure if it is something we should get. Any other vacations we never have. I def know there are positives for it...but I just do not know...did any of you? Will you? TIA

we got the insurance from travelocity
it was very cheap and since we're traveling in february, it is def. worht the money

my dad said if i dont get the insurance i can't go

My mom and dad have both gotten very sick while on vacation, and if they didnt have the travel insurance they would have had to pay a HUGE amount of money for medical treatment, but with it, it was next to nothing.

Also, they had to cancel a trip less than a week before leaving and b/c they had travel insurance they got all but the money for the insurance back!

wow i never even thought about this... i will have to ask fh what he thinks.. we're going to vegas and its in feb.. maybe we need this too

Honestly i would get it, most places don't charge alot actually...I wouldn't take the chance especially for my honeymoon. I know someone who had to go away and there were riots in jamaica and all these crazy things going on so they couldn't go...I also know ppl who were supposed to go to acapulco but the water was contaminated and ppl were getting sick so bc they had insurance their TA just booked them another trip. You just never know what can happen

ABSOLUTELY

mine was less than $300 which IMO is much better than possibly losing $6000!

I am also considering wedding insurance. . .life is just too unpredictable!

i wasnt gong to get insurance but FH wanted it so we got it ... besides knowing my luck if i didnt get the insurance i know would need it .. i think ours was only a little over 200
