Not sure if I should just go stockingless and get Spanx -- since after our first dance I plan to wear a pair of flip-flops and with the dress it would be a pain to get stocking off what a routine that would be with my BM's

I wore the same shoes but in silver. I didnt wear stockings and my feet were fine all night.

No - I would especially not wear them if you have a big dress like me those things are heavy and hot (regardless of time of year)

I am also wearing closed toe shoes and have decided to wear the Spanx full stockings. Lets face it- just look at my fitting pics- I have me some huge hips!! So, I want full coverage! Also, like Ryan said, I don't want to get blisters!

I wore a garter belt with thigh highs at my wedding and wore closed toed shoes for the entire day without taking them off since they were so comfortable!
