Re: For brides not 'Taking off the Garter'
I don't think throwing the bouquet is really going to have a place at the wedding - not really any single ladies!!!

I'm not doing bo-k toss, we're doing the Anniversary Dance instead & I'll hand my bo-k to the longest married couple.

I'm not doing either, I'd rather keep the party dancing! Plus, FH's band will be playing a set, so we'll have plenty going on!

Me too... no tossing, no garter - I don't want to disrupt the party.

Neither. I'd rather hear more music from the band.

Re: For brides not 'Taking off the Garter'
Didn't do either, we did the anniversary dance and I had separate bouquets for the couples married the longest ( I knew there were three there that got married the same year).

Re: For brides not 'Taking off the Garter'
Not doing the garter and wasn't going to do the bo-k toss, but I feel like I'm getting pressure from other people to do it.
I don't know...I am still undecided. I always hate that part of other people's weddings and didn't want to do it at my own.
Not sure about the anniversary dance either.

Re: For brides not 'Taking off the Garter'
there are certian things people just expect at a wedding (older people mostly) so I am doing the boK toss, not the garter toss I always thought that was rather uncomfortble for everyone
