For Brides that are having summer outdoor ceremonies..

Are any of you providing hand fans for your guests to cool off from the heat??

my ceremony is at 6pm, so hopefully it won't be too bad - but I am getting these and making hang tags for them:

I won't be providing any fans, but my hall will provide cool drink refreshments while they are waiting for the ceremony.

no..... and here's a fun fact. using hand fans will actually make you hotter - the energy you need to use to wave the fan back and forth will make you warmer than if you just sat still.

My ceremony is at 5pm so hopefully it won't be too bad. We aren't providing fans but they will have programs so they can fan themselves with those if they want to.

we are! Our ceremony is at 11:30AM so it will be hot! (hopefully)

No, our ceremony and reception site is all shaded and right on the water so there is a great breeze. And it's at 3PM so it shouldn't be too warm to begin with.

I'm going to use cardstock and paint stirreres....so on the front will be our name, pic, wedding date, and on a separate pice of paper I'm going to put the bridal party....the the stirrer will be in between and I'll probably through on a piece of ribbon...HTH

I'm pretty sure there were also some examples on the DIY board
