For brides that want to hang silver pails w/ flowers on their pews...

I went to Target today to pick up something and as I walked in, they had a whole bunch of One Spot bins (this was in Whitestone... my local Target has a TINY version of this section ).

Anyway, one of the things they had was SILVER PAILS!!! For $1!!! So those of you who maybe wanted to recreate the picture below, you could make out like a bandit!

They even had WHITE pails in varying sizes, so that's another option! HTH someone!

that was my pipedream pew decor.... but it costs a lot of $$$ (about $35 each!)

there are several online sites with those pails. They have to be long with a narrow opening....

Actually, if you use hydrangea, the opening does not have to be narrow! With two or 3 full hydrangea heads, it would be perfect!

People could buy the pails and provide them to their florist to fill and put up on the day of.

well, I spoke to 2 florists.... and it's $35 when you have ONE hydrangea.... so 3

not to mention they'll be too wide. Apparently the magic dimentions are a 5' opening with a longer base, so it doesn't look short and squat looking...

Wow, that quote is really high for 1 hydrangea!!! Three of the florists I met with quoted me $10 per pew for TWO hydrangea!!! So 3 would be $15.

The pails at Target have something like a 5' opening, but they are not 'tall' - I've seen another pic with the shorter pails and it still looks very pretty.

I actually got really nice 6' pails at Ikea yesterday for $0.99. I just need to drill small holes on the sides for the ribbon because they have no handles, but they are a niice weight and really cute!! Just another option in case Target runs out or you guys want something bigger!!

I actually got really pretty silk red geraniums (our colors are black white and red) for $2/bunch at AC moore yesterday. they fir in the pail great and are nice and full!! Using real flowers was going to be too much work the night before the wedding for me and way more expensive.
Anyways I have 22 pews at $4/pew.....not bad!!!

It can be done inexpensive and still look great. I will post pictures when I finish with them!! I'm in the process of drilling the holes in the buckets.
