Did you get those involved in sword detail anything, if so what was it im trying to think up some ideas!

We debated this for a long time but decided we wouldnt get them anything. We did, however, provide them transportation to the hall from the ceremony. I gave them a really nice thank you card and felt that was sufficient

i guess I can count this as applying to me LOL- ( we're USAF)
We invited the guys fromt he Honor guard to the reception- as they were all DH's friends and buddies-- We told them 'no gift' as they were coming up from DC and staying at the hotel...but they didnt listen- so we made sure we took care of them afterwards at the after party-- I think b/c we knew everyone personally it was different...

oh yea.. ours were all friends and were invited to the reception as well!
