For Brides who took Pictures Before...

Hi there- I was just wondering how brides who took pics before the ceremony organized their transportation with themselvs and the bridal party. Did you take a separate car/limo with your parents or bridal party and then meet up with the rest of the bridal party & groom at the site where you took pics? Then after pics how did you get to the reception hall--- did you all go in one limo or did you and your FH go in a separate car or did you and your parents or bridal party go in separate car? I am just trying to figure out how to make this all work logistically...we still want to do 'the reveal' at the picture site. Thanks for any help or advice you can offer!

this is what we plan on doing.

one limo will pick me and the girsl up at my house to take us to our location for the shoot
that limo will pick up the flower girls etc and the rest of my family from queens to our ceremony/reception site

the party bus will pick up fh and the boys at his moms house in queens were they are getting ready and off to the shoot they go.

after the shoot the entire bp will take the party bus to the ceremony/reception site.

so this is our plan.
Limo will pick up Fh and GM bring them to picture loctation
another limo will pick up Bm and mom
Rolls royce will bring dad n me to picture location

going to the church the 2 limos will that the girls boys, my mom n his parents and FH
Me n my dad will take the rolls to the church...

So far this is our plan:

The limo will go pick the guys up then come to the hotel to pick up myself and all of the girls. we will all get in one limo and go the location for pictures. Any family members that we want to take pictures with us will follow the limo in one of the 5 trucks that we all own that can fit 8. When we are all done with the pictures the limo will take us to the RH where the ceremony and the reception will be.

My FH thinks that he and his guys can all take the trucks and leave the limo for just us girls until we all meet up at the picture location. At that point they will get in the limo with us to go to the RH and let someone else drive the truck.

limo pick the boys up and drop them off at picture location, then the limo picks up the girls and drops us off at the picture location too...then we are ALL going to the HALL to get married :)

My sisters, FMIL and FSIL, FH and his best man all stayed the night before and got ready at a hotel. The limo picked us (the girls) up about 2 1/2 hours before the ceremony and we met Fh and best man (they didn't take a limo, took the best man's car) there for pics. We got married at the RH and we had our pics there also.

Me, my mom and 3 bms got our hair done at the salon and then drove ourselves to the hotel to get ready. we were all staying over, so we needed to leave our cars there. the limo picked us up from the hotel and drove us to the vanderbilt where we were taking pictures. the 2nd limo picked up DH, his parents and GM at his house and drove them to the vanderbilt. The guys got their first and so did the photographer, who then set up a reveal shot for us. We took all our pictures and then took the limos to the RH. DH wanted to go in the car with just me, but unfortunately my mom isn't crazy about my ILs and didn't want to be left with them and the BP (especially that she doesn't have my dad with her anymore). so we all just went back in the original car we came in to go to the RH. it worked out fine b/c the ride wasn't very long anyway.

We are doing something similar. Limo will pick up the boys and drop them off at the picture location, then pick up the girls and drop them off at the picture location. Parents and other family members will drive themselves to the picture location (meet the bridal party). Then the limo will take the bridal party to the church (which is very close to where we are taking pictures). The limo will take the boys then the girls. Then the Limo will get my father and myself last and bring us to the church. After the cermeony- party bus to the reception...whoo hooo!

I am planning on getting ready at a hotel and taking pics and video of the preparation and then I want the photographer and the videographer to set up a place in the hotel to have 'the reveal'. After that the bridal party will take the limo and go to a place to take pictures. Then we will use the limo once again to take us to the hall. That's the plan..as simple as I can get it because the day of I am going to be soooo hyper and excited that I prob won't remember anything more complicated than that

Here is my plans:

I am having 2 limos come to my house. My parent, myself and all the bridal party will go to the park.

Another limo will pick up my FH and his family and take them to the park.

There we will meet up. My fiance lives out east and everyone lives by me. That is why everyone is leaving from my house.

The we will all to the reception hall. My fh and I will ride together with are parents.

This is what we did:

Limo 1:
Picked up me, my parents and BM's & drove us to photo site.

Limo 2:
Picked up DH, his mom and GM and drove them to photo site.

Started w/ all the group shots. Then the entire BP hopped in limo #2 (stretch Escalade that held 22 people) and went to RH. This worked well for them bc they didn't need to stand around while DH and I took our pics---and it also gave the 2 of us some time on our own!

DH and I stayed behind w/ the photog and took our pics. Then we hopped in limo #1 and went to RH.

It worked out really well!
