For brides who went to the hairsalon the day of...

How long did it take? Do think it is better to go to the salon or have someone come to your house? I am trying to get my schedule together for that day. I am scared I will be rushed.

I have the same fear! Especially b/c mine is on a Sunday. I've heard pros for both.

I am so scared of getting caught in traffic and my makeup person is coming to my house. then I am freaked because my BMs are suppossed to get their hair and makeup done also.

I am going to the salon for hair...and I am having the make-up person meet us at the salon. It will just be easier not to have all these people at my mom's house. After hair and make-up...I will go to mom's to get dressed. I'm not worried about traffic...because everything is very close togehter....no highways to get on! Good luck.

Will it be a problem to have an outside makeup person come to the salon? Did anyone else do this?

I'm getting hair and makeup done by stylists at the same salon. Also the place is close to my house and I can take all side streets, so I don't have to worry about traffic.

I'm not sure how the salon will feel about an outside makeup person. You should call and ask.

We went to the salon for hair, but it was walking distance from our hotel, then we had the makeup artsist come to the hotel, if I didnt find a stylist that was close enough, we would of had her come to us for convenience, its stressful as it is, we didnt want to worry about getting stuck in traffic
