We bought our wedding rings this weekend (!!) and I wound up with two bands, as planned. I really wanted matching wedding bands, so we got matching plain platinum bands and I also got a diamond eternity band.
Can I use both bands in the ceremony, or should I just pick one? What did you do (or what are you planning to do)?

Well how are you planning on wearing them? It might be nice to use the matching one, but if you will be wearing both on a daily basis, you could use both.

My FH actually got 2 bands, a plain one and a diamond one. He is wearing the diamond one during the ceremony, but is bringing both with him to be blessed.

Re: for brides with two wedding rings...
I don't plan on wearing them together on a daily basis - probably just one or the other (or wear on on each hand)...
I was thinking of using the matching one for the ceremony and having the diamond one blessed... but I'll probably switch it out to wear the diamond band to the reception -- so I'm not sure!

Re: for brides with two wedding rings...
Im getting married in the plain one (in Jewish weddings you cant have any stones in the ring) and then putting on the diamond one after the ceremony so Ill have my engagement ring and plain band on one hand and the diamond one on the other

Re: for brides with two wedding rings...
We are supposed to get matching bands and tena diamond band for me. I cannot wear my e-ring to work, it would get wrecked!!! So I wanted an everyday band. I will probably use the diamond at the ceremony and wear the everyday one on my other hand.

Re: for brides with two wedding rings...
We are both gettting two bands and we are going to get married with our diamond bands and have the set of matching bands blessed by the priest the day of. I dont know exactly when during the day that it will happen, I still have to talk to the priest but I just want them blessed when we actually get married and then having the best man hold on to them until the reception.

Re: for brides with two wedding rings...
I have two bands. One for either side-FH's idea. I am going to actually have them welded together with my E ring because I plan to wear them together all the time. The jeweler said they could always unweld them in the future and repolish so we are going to weld them. Otherwise they spin around. I have wide knuckles but very thin fingers at the base.

I have a plain band and a diamond band. When the priest did the blessing of the rings DH just put them both on me at the same time. That way they were both blessed. After the mass i switched the plain band to my right hand and put my diamond wedding band and e-ring on my left hand.

This is what I was thinking. We'd bring both and he could put them both on me... Then after the ceremony, I can put just the diamond band (and my e-ring) on my left hand and wear the plain one on my right hand.

I wore the matching one with my e-ring and the diamond one I wore on the other hand.
I felt the safest place to keep my rings were on my hand -- I didn't want to loose any.

i would wear the matching one because you will have pictures taken of your rings on your hands (maybe bring both to get blessed)
