so we met him tonight

he basically told me that he doesn't like to do anything as big as i'm requesting

and he said he doesn't make samples prior to booking, is this true??

we are going to see 2 samples this weekend and hopefully decide

...he kept telling me that everything I wanted..i shouldn't want or that he really didn't like to do what I was requesting..i didn't have a good experience to say the least

thank god im not the only one who felt this way!

i heard soooo many good things so i thought i was crazy

and his price was only 100 dollars cheaper than my last quote

EVERYTHING i wanted was too big, not possible, not in season, not a good idea etc etc

i was like ummmm how come 2 other florists said it was ok?

I am getting a sample from james cress sat and stylish events on sunday

go with your gut... A LOT of girls on here had amazing experiences and I have seen beautiful flowers from there BUT i felt like all he wanted to do was change everything that I wanted..its my day and my vision..and your right none of the other florists when i went to them gave me a hard time

he kept doing the same thing to me. he wanted me to buy things myself which i was not comfortable with. we ruled them out right away, but a lot of people rave about them!

ok good! so im not alone i have more than one girl who felt the same lol

i havent seen any of them so sorry i can't help

heres a little tip that the girls at my shower table told me and i thought it was good advice

try to go with a florist who will actually be AT your wedding the day of...you go through all this work designing your flowers, don't you want the person who is actually working with you and designing the flowers ro be there on your day to make sure its right?

just a thought! both my florists will be there the day of...so maybe use that to help you decide

go with the best price...and the person who gets your vision best!

me too! FH is sooooo over it! I might go to one more florist without him lol

unless on sunday(which im hoping and praying) we love the CP and she comes down on price

then I will book on the spot bc i loooooved her and she totally got our vision! nailed it on the head!!!!!!!!!!
