do we have to get a special tray and knife too? we're getting the challah cover.
(this is for interfaith wedding, but my Jewish FH has no idea what we need)

My FI and I are both jewish and I have no idea... I didn't even get a challah cover!! Ask the rabbi I guess... but i would say you probably don't need one...

some jewish brides here said some may be offended if we used just a napkin.
ugh im so confused. I think i'll leave this up to the inlaws. If they want a cover, let them buy it. I've spent enough money.

We were married in a temple but there was no cover and I am sure your hall can provide a tray.

As long as you have a cover, it sounds OK to me! Your hall should have a tray and knife.
