What type of products do you use when you wear your hair curly?
I usually straighten mine, but with this heat- not even the straight iron is cutting it!
I haven't wore my hair curly in so long that i dont even know what to use aymore. I've been using spray gel, but the curls just fall.
My hair is layered, but it's more wavey with some curls lately.
Please HELP! I look like the Mamma from Throw Mamma From the Train with haggy hair!!!!

I can transform my hair from straight to curly..
I use Softee Gel I swear by it!!!!!!!!!! Its very hard to find and I usually find it in 99C stores lol....I found it in Shop Rite., the most random places...but this Gel is thick and the Thicker the better
Definatley use a diffuser when drying your hair while crunching it helps a million percent!

Re: For Curly Girlies- NWR
I use the blue LA Looks hair gel, it's for curly strong hold! I put a big clump of that in and scrunch, scrunch, scrunch!! i let it air dry a bit and then use a hair dryer for about a minute while scrunching again. after i feel it's dry i put some strong hold hair spray.
this used to be such a process. it's taken me a long time to get it just right!! lol...you should ask some of my friends what my hair used to look like before i figured out the right way to do it! lol

I use Garnier Nuctrisse. I use there milk sleek and shine syrum (sp?) and their surf hair spray. It gives it that beachy looking without the frizz

I wash my hair with the curls rock shampoo and conditioner by catwalk. Then I use a small amount of very light gel from paul mitchell (I forgot what it's called but it has an apple on the bottle). Then I use some of the curling mousse from herbal essence (purple bottle). then scrunch

Re: For Curly Girlies- NWR
I use Aveda - be curly. it's a little expensive. but it works really great!!!
any water based gel will do. I love the Tress FX products by Ouidad http://www.ouidad.com/productadvisor_all.asp
That salon is AMAZING. But if the products break your bank, I also love Biolage gelee. I always get a compliment when I use that in my hair.

Re: For Curly Girlies- NWR
I am a devacurl girl. Devacurl is the product line from Devachan Salon in Soho. Their products are sold at the store, online, or at Ricky's. They are pricey, but the gel and conditioner are truly exceptional. I can't afford to use it every day, so I alternate with 'Citre Shine making waves curl booster' gel in the orange bottle. Basically, anything you put in curly hair should not have alcohol in it, or at least as not one of the first three ingredients. Hope that helped!

I use that Paul Mitchell gel too. It's Sculpting Lotion, and it smells like apples. Then I scrunch away, spray w/ hairspray and let it air dry for 10 minutes. Then I dry it with a diffuser, and spray it to death w/ more hairspray.
