I am a big time crying person... and I know I will be practically bawling while saying my vows. I want to bring a hankerchief up there with me to use otherwise I will be literally dripping. Anyone have any advice?

Have a nic hankerchief wrapped around the bottom of your bouquet over the ribbon - probably use one pin to keep it thare or you hold it there
When you pass the bouquet off take i off - or have your MOH take it off and pass it to you when necessary

i'm going to have it around the bottom on my bo-k. I'm actually going to use one that was my grandfathers and has his initial on it--it's going to be my something blue too!

I was going to suggest putting it in your fh's pocket! (and make it match your colors of course)

I'll be honest, I thought I was going to be a mess and shockingly I wasn't. I did, however, keep tissues stuffed into my sleeves that I didn't use. You might surprise yourself and not CRY.
And just hold it there in my hand? Will it look stupid with me constantly wiping my face? Oh my poor make up

It's so true--I was so just trying to listen and remember everything I was supposed to do and not trip walking down the aisle! You will get so wrapped up in everything!

That is a fanastic idea unless I need to access the hanky and the preist gets nervous because I am starting to feel around in the chest area.

The same thing happened to me - I am sooo emotional usually and I was sure I wouldn't even be able to get the words out, but I hardly cried at all during the ceremony.
As for what you could do just in case, I had a handkercheif that I held around my bouquet (it was my old and blue) and I passed it off to my MOH during the ceremony, but I would think you could just keep it in your hand and people wouldn't really see it. And don't forget to blot - not wipe.

I put a tissue in my dress. But, I didn't cry that much. You can hear it during the vows on the video and I was sniffling a lot which is annoying in the video and I didn't realize the day of. But, I wasn't crying as much as I thought!

I think I am going to have a small handkerchief wrapped around my bo-k but I know I am going to be crying so much. I am going to try my hardest to think about Janet Reno or toothpaste or something - dont want to waste all the $$$ spent on make-up!

Re: For emotional brides (crying question)
I carried a tissue in my hand and when I passed my MOH my bok, I held onto he tissue. I thought I was going to have a breakdown during my vows, but I got through them pretty ok. I did cry when DH did his vows. The trick is to try not to let the tears run down your face. Cathc them before they fall and they won't mess up your makeup. And take lots of deep breaths. There were many times I thought I was going to cry, but the deep breaths really calmed me down.

Re: For emotional brides (crying question)
Another extremely emotional girl here---who completely thought I would be crying my eyes out and just didn't...I shed not one single tear all day...I was simply beaming from ear to ear. You just never know...I don't think it matters much if you have a handkerchif up there with you...Everyone will think it's endearing. My make-up girl came with me to the church that way if she needed to she could have touched up my make up pre-reception.

I think I'll be ok. It's FH that's the problem. He is very emotional. All the men on his side are that way. They had to take a break during his cousins wedding so the groom could compose himself!

Re: For emotional brides (crying question)
I found one of my Dad's old hankerchiefs (from the 60's when me carried them around) that is monogrammed with his initials. I'm either giving it to FH to hold or wrapping it around my bo-kay. Not sure yet.
