For everyone that is having children in their wedding party
I am nervous that during the ceremony they will get restless and get loud. My future MIL says that they won't (kids on my FH side). One of my FSIL's is known for being deliquent with her kid's behaviors. Don't get wrong, I love them so much and I am so happy that they are in the wedding, but still nervous. They are also coming to the reception. Also, I told her that the kids who are under 4 can't go in the limos (FSIL's are not in the wedding, but husbands are). My deliquent FSIL said 'that will be impossible'. UGHH...Her parents are also invited so why can't the kids go with them???

It sounds like you have an 'enabler' Mom on your hands. My MOH is the mom of my RB and will have an infant by the wedding (God willing, she's due any day now). Her husband is not in the BP and I expect him to 'control' both the RB and the baby during the ceremony should they start crying or get restless. I've seen it done at many weddings, the parents just walk out with the kids until they calm down. The babies are not coming to the reception either and I am inviting her parents so I expect them to take both her kids. We have discussed it and she agrees on all points, maybe explain to your fi that it will be better for the kids to be with their grandparents. Plus, IMO, the parents should want the kids to be with their parents so that they could enjoy the reception - a night out of sorts. Good luck!

EVERY wedding I have brought my son to - he is a terror!!!
He is a ringbearer next month and I am a bit nervous about that!! I cant even see him walking down the aisle!!
Also he is going to walk me down the aisle in mine and then sitting with 2 other 4 year olds. Our ceremony is going to be short and sweet, but still LOL
I have a hand held leapster for him, but knowing him he will turn the volume uo real loud LOL

I had 6 children in my bridal party ranging from 11 - 18 months. They were all wonderful. My 4 year old nephew decided he wasn't walking down the ailse and sat with his dad - but that was the extent of disruption. They were all great. I post a pic of my niece - the littlest one.
