Carlyle on the Green- some feedback

Went to a wedding there last year. It was very nice, and the food was good. We stuffed ourselves silly on the crab at the cocktail hour. Couple of things that weren't so great: the piano playing itself at the cocktail hour was kinda silly. Also, the staff tried to spread the food out during the cocktail hour b/c the room was too crowded. But, they ended up putting the raw tuna that the bride and groom paid extra for, in a room where none of the guests could find it. The reception room was pretty, but too big, even with nearly 300 guests. Also, since the bar is located in the cocktail room, most of the guests spent a significant part of the evening hanging out there, instead of in the reception room. The bride's father had to ask the bartender to stop serving at one point, just to get the guests back to their tables or onto the dance floor! The band was one of the Hank Lane bands and they weren't that good. In fact, the bride and groom said they weren't the original members that they had contracted for. Just something to be aware of...I've seen similar posts regarding Hank Lane. Good luck!
