In my case, yes. I estimate I saved about $600 making my own invites. I also made my own programs, menus, etc. and although I didn't price those things out (I always knew I would make them) I suspect I made them for cheaper than they would have cost me to buy (pics in album). If you do your research and find good deals on paper, etc. you will save! Good luck and FM me if you need help.

i so agree.
*my invites were $215, had i not diy-ed $650 *my cps were $70 (8 tables), had i not diy-ed $360 *my seating chart $60, had i not diy-ed $150 *my stds $25, didn't price out and this is just off the top of my head
ETA: you still have to comparison shop when buying supplies/materials, or else IT CAN BE MORE $$$$
