for girls getting married on a sunday

I am planning on gettting my hair and makeup done by someone who will come to my house. As I have noticed it is very expensive which is fine for me but for my bridal party it might not be...we need to be ready for pictures by 9:30am since my ceremony is at 11:30 and we need to drive to the place and do pictures before hand..

so my question is on a sunday what are the girls other options instead of paying almost 300 each for hair and makeup? are there any salons open at like 6am on a sunday that they can do to for a cheaper hairstyle? I am in holbrook if that helps? or are there certian hairdressers I can get to come to my house to just do the girls?...this is really stressing me out because I want eveyone to look nice but I dont want to have to make them pay all that money! :(

All the salons I've spoken to are willing to open early for my bridal party. Some of them charge a fee but it is not much. If I don't do that, my BP does not want to get their make up done so I might just have an extra person come to the house to do their hair. Almost any stylist will agree to that, it means $$$ for them!

i would think any salon that is open on sunday reguraly will open early it might be a small fee ... the place were i get my hair done isnt open on sundays so if i want to use them i need to pay like 25 to hold the date and then they cahrge double the amount the would normally ... so fo my hair it would be 170 and for the BM it would be 130

I feel the same way! I am rethinking this whole day wedding thing, lol. I think we're on the same schedule, my reception is at 11:30 and my photographer will be at my house (or hotel, haven't decided yet) at 8:30 That means I'll probably have to get to the salon by 7 unless someone comes to me, as you know I'm having trouble finding a make up artist

me too ... so thats why i told the girls just to find diffrent plavces to get thier hair done ... i know some places that are open on sundays so i will call get prices and then let the girls decide ... my ceremony doesnt start till 3 (i think) so i dont have to at least worry about getting thier hair done so early but i def. think any salon will open earlier maybe one of the girls normal salons are open on sunday ...

yea that's why my girls are only getting their hair done. I think the person I'm using is charging $85 pp, which isn't awful. But I have 6 bm's and a MOH so I don't know if she can do all of them. If I do send them to a salon I might pay for them to get their make up done as their gifts

i was married on a sunday, and we had to be ready by about 9 a.m. i used Jacqueline Nicole for makeup---the BMs and MOB/MOG were $65 each. (i paid for that for them)

for hair, we used the Rock sisters and the avg. amount for hair was roughly $75-85 or so. both came to us at my hotel, JN was there by about 5:00 a.m. and the Sarah & Bridge Rock arrived at 6 a.m.---everyone was done by about 8:30a.m and there were 5 of us getting make up and 6 heads of hair to do. if i hadn't paid for their make up, the BP would have had to shell out about $150-165 total!

I would call Cactus Salon in Holbrook and see what they say. All the girls there are great and very accomodating.

actually MP will do up to 10 girls and she can do it...actually the package is $1250 but this also includes her staying with you for 8 hours for touch-ups

your best bet is talking to them and seeing what they want to do and you can give them the options and then its their choice

Yeah I am going to make them all a sheet saying what salon prices are..what the pedelas sisters prices are etc and just let them decide I think..even if some of them get it done at the house and some go to a salon

yeah that is your best bet, and you never know some might be willing to pay more for hair and make up, but yes some would really not want to.

I opted to go to a salon by my house in smithtown. They said they would open early if needed. They didn't say anything about charging extra either. I was going to have someone come to my house but I think this will be easier for me and My Bm's. I need to have my hair and makeup done by 1:00 soo its a bit later then you but I would call and see what they say. FM me if you want the number.
