I was reading over that booklet that gives you all the choices of readings, and vows, etc.,....So I'm supposed to fill out this form in the back to personalize the whole mass and it asks whether we want to receive both forms of communion. Are you planning on receiving the wine in addition to the Eucharist? I'm such a spaz that I'd be afraid to spill it on myself as I'm shaking up there on the altar. Is that going to look bad though if I check off the option for 'Eucharist only'?

nope becasue not everyone takes the wine. Like I only started to take wne at communion because FH's family does but my family does not take the wine. It doesnt look bad at all. You should do what you feel comfortable doing.

I am with you on the Spaz/Wine situation...Figure if we offer it, we would have to drink it, so we are just doing the eucharist...

I just hope the priest don't question us on our decision...Not sure if he'll be understanding of my reason!

Good question!! Another thing to worry about!! I have to say if there is a possibility to spill.,..I probably would...so I think I will say no!!

we asked the priest, he said most only do the eucharist. i would actually like both, but im scared....

I know my church isnt offering the wine because of the whole 'swin flu' out break- so just double check and make sure they are still offering it because Im sure the book was made awhile ago.
