For girls that aren't showing FH your gown

When you go for your hair and make-up trials are you going to let him see you with your hair and make-up done or do you want the entire look to be a surprise?

I never really thought about it but with the freequency I see FH I probably wont see him the night of my hair trial.

I am not doing much to my hair though so that doesnt matter either.

He will not see the dress, and will know nothing about it.

As for the make-up, he doesn't like when I wear a lot of make-up so I want to get it done and get his opinion. I plan on looking as natural as possible, or at least that's what I want. I mean, I hope to look like myself and he's seen me before so I have no need to surprise him with make-up. I don't see what the surprise would be, I hope that I don't look like someone else.

I don't know about my hair yet. He told me how he wants me to wear it, so maybe I'll keep that a secret...

I dont plan on showing him the dress and if I could help it I probably would rather not have him see my hair and make up done but we live together and I think it will be inevitable.

i voted No to everything but i didnt read the question right ... depending when i get my hair and makeup trial he may see that ... but i think i'm going to get it done the day of my batchorlette party so he may not see it then ... he def. wont see the dress at all ... thats my biggest problem i have no idea were i am going to keep my dress ... we live together so icant leave it here and my parents have 3 dogs there is no way i am leaving it there!!!

the only thing i really plan on showing him is my makeup since he HATES too much.. but i think he will love it either way. and i HATE too much also so i dont htink it will be a problem. ive asked him this ? and he said he wants to know nothing.. so i may keep it that way.

i think it would be fun to do a girls night out the day of my makeup trial, if it comes out nice enough! i will see though, i dont want him to see it!

Good question. I hadnt even thought about it. I mean i would rather him not see it come to think about it, but if he happened to i dont know if it would be a big deal

i voted that he could see my when i get my trials done - im not getting them at the same time and it wont be with the dress so i think the whole look altogether will still be a surprise

I agree with the few that said 'he doesnt like a lot of makeup.' I dont want him to think I look like a giant whorebag on our wedding day, so I want to make sure he approves of the makeup beforehand.

Its funny because I originally wanted to do all smoky eyes and heavy lip gloss....and he told me he hates it when I wear a lot of make-up! So I'd rather show him first...

I think i am going to have a hard time not showing him my dress...because I usually ask his opinion on everything I wear...he is honest, and I am more comfortable getting his opinion than anyone elses. My hair and makeup...this is really the first time I thought about that....I am sure he will see me though, because we live together...I guess I will see what happens.

I do the same thing! It's weird buying something that expensive and not getting his opinion but I kind of found a way around it! I would find dresses that look similar to the ones I like and show him and ask what he thinks of it and get his opinion! Like I really love the dresses with the pick ups and I showed him a picture and I found out he detests them. Although it is not on me, it is the only alternative I found to getting his opinion!
