I never even heard of doing this-- is this common? My dress is ivory and VERY ivory as I am sure yours is the same color.. now I am worried white will look weird-- but I feel bad asking all the GM's to buy ivory shirts.

I don't know if I would like that.. I think the boys would look too dark in pics..

I had an ivory dress and it did NOT look dirty with the guys wearing white shirts. Al wore an ivory vest with a white shirt - looked fabulous and crisp.

I heard this 'rumor' too when I was planning, and its just NOT true. I think tux places started it so that the ivory shirts get some wear

I kept a swatch of my dress from the hem in my wallet to compare..and the ivory shirt is just TOO yellow for my off-white ivory dress. White shirt, ivory vest...ivory Tie.
