For girls who are printing their own envelopes....
I was planning on printing right on the envelopes, but every envelope I put in the address comes out great and it leaves a little smudge of ink somewhere on the envelope. It is driving me crazy. So now I am thinking of using labels since this is not working the way I need them too. For everyone who is using labels: what size/kind? and where did you purchase them?
TIA

Go with the clear labels, thats what I did. It is nearly impossible to print the address on those darn envelopes...

You may need a new ink cartridge or toner if smearing is occurring.

This is what FH recommended we do, at first I was against it. but at this point I don't care anymore.

The envelopes may be too thick. I had to set mine to high glossy paper or something like that so it didn't smudge!

I had the same problem, and decided to do clear labels and they looked great! We got them at Staples, the larger letter size labels - I think the measurements are somehting like 4x2? We downloaded a really nice font that almost matched the invitation perfectly - and it looked very classy.

I am going to try this and see what happens. If it doesn't work clear labels here I come.

i used clear labels...they were big because i wanted them to take up most of the front of the envelope as it would be if i had them calligraphed. they were 2' by 4'. i bought them at staples.... avery, staples, hewled-packard--they all make labels.
