Re: for girls who bought their dress already....
Check out what trunk shows they are having and go there then, 10% off on a wedding dress helps a lot!

When you call BR they will ask you what your budget is. The store in Massapequa has dresses that are in your budget. Perhaps not many, but they do have some. If they don't , they will def. tell you. RK bridal has many beautiful dresses for good $ . Granted, you don't get the boutique treatment, but it's good enough. If this doesn't help, I would recommend Lilette's. 95% of their dresses are within your price range, and the ladies there are wonderful
Good luck!

I don't think it would be a waste to go to BR in Massapequa, I just read a girl who found her dress there for $1k.

Re: for girls who bought their dress already....
I would check out Demetrios . They have good prices for nice looking dresses. But id go to the one in New York City Harold Square and ask for Josephine. Shes really helpful and organized and really sweet. She used to be at the one in Manhasset. The Demetrios is Manhasset is kinda unorganized, the people who work there are scatter brains haha. Congrats!

Check out Village Bridal in Babylon. They had a nice selection for reasonable prices. I found a dress that I am very interested in buying and it is less than 1k. With alterations and a veil it will prob come to around $1500. Also, I walked in without an appointment and the staff was very helpful and let my sister take pictures of me in the dresses. From what I've heard, some places won't let you take pictures.

If you don't mind having a place that is not at all full service The Bridal Garden in the city is great. But all the dresses have either been worn once in a bridal show and are 30-40% off or worn by brides which I think are 50-60 off. It's a charity for a charter school too which is nice. I saw dresses there from 400-3500.

that's me...mine was 950!!! it is a Maggie and I love it!! Thats doesn't include alterations though....yikes
I probably could have gotten it cheaper but I love the cleanliness and service of the salon....that was important to me....any other place I went I was not thrilled. No problems as of yet...2nd fitting is 10/1 and I pick up the dress the thursday before

Re: for girls who bought their dress already....
I wasn't crazy about Bridal Reflections. I went there, and the lady who helped me was very nice, but I got my beautiful Maggie Sottero dress (Jean) at Lotus Bridal in Brooklyn for $900 and it was $1300 or $1400 at BR. I thought that was crazy!!!! The same dress was also $900 at Lillettes, but I live in BK and liked Lotus Bridal better. Also, at Lillettes, they only take cash, that may make a difference to you. I also liked RK bridal and the Demetrios dresses at Macy's. Good Luck, and have fun!
