my mom said mine was beautiful but then said well make sure you are happy b/c i would have never thought you would pick somehting so plain. not the exact reaction i wanted. but i know my mother and i guess after marrying off 4 children before me the 5th is not as exciting.

my mom isnt into girly stuff, not much of a crier either. so i went shopping my my BM's, and narrowed it down to 5 dresses and brought my mom back.

every dress she made a face, except for my favorite (and the one I ordered). she said it looked like it was designed for me. then when i thanked her for it later at home she cried - so i know she really likes it!

Honestly, paint a picture, my Mother is the biggest yenta you will ever meet in your life. Can't keep her mouth shut about anything!

For the first time in my life, she stood there speechless and I mean like I had to say 3X 'Mom, hello Mom'

I guess that was a good sign

I am 99% ordering this one dress and when I came out in it, my mother said 'OH MY GOD'.. so I think that's the one!!!

LOL well, I have this problem my mother & I have different taste so we were bumping heads when I was tring on Dresses.. SO im going to do a little more searching but i Think i found the one I LOVE =) My mom dont ohh well.. lol

My mom went with me to try on many dresses. She was wtih me when I found mine. She was very happy and tried to hold back the tears

my mom was very stoic - which pissed me off, I wanted her to cry... but I later found out that she didnt want to get emotional or excited b/c she didnt know how much it was and didnt want to fall in love with it if she couldnt afford it

She cryed in the place and then cryed the ride home. Happy tears of course...she was and still is so EXCITED!!!!!

My mom didn't cry or anything but she told me this is'THE ONE' and it really was. the first time i tried on a dress and had the veil on i saw her get very red but she held back the tears...i guess thats the moment when she realized her lil girl is getting married.
