For girls who have a steady long time hairdresser...

what are you doing about day of hair???

i dont have a steady hairdresser but I found a girl I LOVE who cuts my hair amazing and is doing my extensions and I want her to do my extensions for the wedding

BUT i dont know if i want her to do my hair for the day of

she brought it up at last hair appt

should i do trials with OTHER ppl first and save her for last?

are you girls telling your stylist that youre using someone else?

I dont want to hurt her feelings or ruin our relationship if I go with someone else

My regular girl is doing my hair for the wedding. I love her, and I trust her. That's super important to me for the day of.I feel like she knows my hair like the back of her hand.

I wanted to use mine but she said she doesn't work on Saturdays. It was kind of annoying that she wouldn;t work one Saturday in July for my wedding, but whatever. I was then going to use the salon but i found a girl who's one of my BM's cousins and she is giving me a deal io can't pass up! So I'll be telling my hairdresser next time I go!

I've been going to the same person for my hair since I was in High School. She's super cute and I love her because shes honest and she listens to me. She's so honest that she told me that shes not comfortable doing up-do's and actually gave me some names of girls I should see, including a few other girls at the salon. I'll go to her for my last cut and color before the wedding though!

Ahhhhhh I have the same exact problem! She kind of insisted (in a nice way, like she really wants to do it for me) that she was doing my hair, but she is NOT. I found someone I like, and I'm super crazy about my hair! I don't want to hurt my hairdresser's feelings though (and I love how she cuts and colors my hair), so with the help of the other girls on the board they gave me a perfect excuse--say my BM's got me a package for hair and makeup as a gift! Of course, though, I saw her Monday and I didn't say anything about it because I'm such a chicken and she didn't bring it up =)

Such an annoying predicament! I feel your pain!!!!

I have a similar problem, i feel bad having anyone else do my hair but at the same time she is at a new place and she is not sure any of the girls there are good with up do's and i have my whole bridal party to get there here done too.

I do have a regular hairdresser..probably for 6 yrs now. I havent been to her since getting engaged. I don't know if she will bring it up, but I already have a friend that is doing my hair for the wedding. I will have to figure out a way to tell her.

I'm using the girl that cuts my hair regularly.

She's done up-dos and my hair for special occasions (weddings and such) so I'm sticking with who I'm comfortable with and like.

I am not using my hair lady for my hair. I want someone to come to my house and my lady doesnt do that - plus I live an hour away from her. She did my hair for my prom and I hated it. I just love the way she colors my hair.

Although the girl I used for my makeup and hair for my epics (also my doing my Day of hair and makeup) may have a new regular client - she is fabulous!

omg this is such a good excuse!!! I've been going to my hairdresser for about 6 years and my sister's been going to her even longer...Last time I was there, she started showing me pix of all the updo's she's done....She works out of her house, which for some reason that makes me feel even worse about not using her and I'm getting nervous bc I dont know if I want to use her, ugh!! so hard! and then like Jenni said...what if i go for a trial with her and don't love it?!? ahhh
