For girls who have been on their honeymoon or are going soon . . .
What the heck did you pack? I am going for 10 days. I am not going until November, but I am trying to finish up my shopping (since the summer clothes are out now). I have no clue how much to pack. I need examples of
(1) how many bathing suits/coverups (2) how many dresses (3) how many shorts, t's, etc.
Help!
thanks!

I think it depends on where your going. I have no clue either so this thread will help me. Im going to Disney for 5 days, then staying in Puerto Rico for 2 nights before taking an 8 day cruise to the south caribbean. I know i have to back comfy light clothes for Disney and then nicer things for the cruise. Buuuut i have know idea how much i need, Ill be gone for 2 weeks and have never had to pack for that long.
Usually I pack an outfit a day and then ad a few extras. With bathing suits i usually pack 3 with about 4 cover up outfits. Dresses i have no clue since i dont normally wear them.

I am going to pack a number of sundresses, probably 5-6 bathing suits, and 3-4 capris. The clothes are not the issue, my issue is how many shoes and bags do I bring!!!

don't forget the most hotels (i know for sure at disney) have washing machines- i know its the last thing you want to do on your HM but if you are going for that long-- and with having to pay for lugged to be check now a days it is something to remeber when packing. hope i was not a party pooper..

Re: For girls who have been on their honeymoon or are going soon . . .
we were at our resort for 4 nights. I brought like 4 bathing suites- I just rinsed them in the sink to use again a couple days later. I brought 3 pairs of shorts I think. Like 4 or 5 dresses. 1 pair of neutral sandal heals that went with all dresses. 2 pairs of flip flops- 1 for the beach and one nicer pair. And like 8 tops. I tried to pack light.

Re: For girls who have been on their honeymoon or are going soon . . .
I usually pack 1 dress or skirt outfit for every night we're there since I mostly wear them to the nice dinners.
As far as shorts go... I don't have too many pair so I just bring a few jean shorts or khaki shorts and a BUNCH of tops that go with them.
Bathing suits, I usually bring around 3 with 1-2 coverups for them.
We are going to St. Kitts so I am planning to pack the way I pack when we've gone to Aruba. HTH!

Re: For girls who have been on their honeymoon or are going soon . . .
I know I am going to wind up overpacking because I always do I've never been on a trip this long and I probably already bought too much stuff. FH isnt worried at all it figures leave it to them to be last minute. I have been buying him some bathing suits here and there because I figure he can always buy clothes in October but you wont find bathing suits in stores then.
I have a few sundresses and skirts, along with capris, black pants, beige, white, about 8 bathing suits and cover ups and I cant even think about how many pairs of shoes I will need to bring.
My question is are you going to carry cash on you for spending or will you bring travelers checks? If you bring the checks how does that work?
