for girls who have had their food tastings already....

We have ours today at 4:00 PM!

Question. Is this the appropriate time to go over EVERYTHING with our BM? like, give them the vendors I have, decide on a custom cocktail, that sorta thing? Or is it all just about deciding the food?

any advice is appreciated!

Nah, I don't think so. When we went, there were at least 10-15 other tables seated with other people, and the BM runs around going from table to table making sure everyone is OK. You can ask her a few questions (we did), but I would't try to wrangle her into sitting down with you and going over things.

Our tasting was just about the food. We have another meeting 3 months before the wedding to go over the details with our BM.

Our food tasting was just a tasting. OUr final menu appointment is where we will go over all the other stuff.

I did mine at Danfords, I know yours is there too! We had the food manager serve us and I wasn't pleased that they didn't have all of the things we wanted to try ready, although they did make up for it when we came back at another point. Amy wasn't there at all and Vicky came over and introduced herself briefly and said she would be handling things the day of but the purpose really was just to taste the food AND wine!

Amy told us that they will comb over the menu details at our appointment one month before our date with all of those people and every little thing so that's probably when you would do all of those things.
