for girls who have used (or plan to use) NICOLE DANGIO

Hey girls,

Sorry this is a little long....I contacted Nicole via email about 2 weeks ago. I asked a few questions as to prices, when I should do my trial, who she could recommend for a makeup artist, etc. Today she replied back to me in an extremely brief sentence.

Last Friday I called her and left her a detailed message asking her to please get back to me, and I have not heard from her yet.

As I am sure you can understand, I have a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.

Being that I have heard such wonderful things from all of you, I am wondering what I should do. I understand she is probably extremely busy, but have any of you had this exoperience when trying to contact her? Do you think I should call and leave another message? Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi - I used Nicole and could not be happier with my choice. She was a pleasure to work with.

She is also a mother of three and a very busy lady, and she doesn't work on Tuesdays and is booked solid with weddings on weekends.

So, I would recommend following up again on Friday morning if you don't hear from her sooner - phone and/or email. I found her emails to always be brief, but when you meet her you feel like she is one of your best friends right away!

I can understand your frustration -- but Nicole is worth it!! Check out my review!

I agree that Nicole is a pleasure when you meet her. She is very talented BUT her customer service skills in contacting customers STINKS!!!! She is frustrating the hell out of us. We have left several messages to no avail. When you have so many appts and so few days left, it is one thing a bride shouldn't have to deal with.

I have actually been contacting her too and had the exact opposite experience....we actually emailed each other back and forth today 3 times. She did say that she was away until Sept. so maybe my emails were reaching her at better times...I know she does have 3 kids so maybe she was swamped when replying.

I understand your frustration though.

I also should mention that it usually takes about a week for her to reply to a email....but I guess we were just both on the computer today so that is why we had that back and forth emailing.

I have never met her before but from what i hear she is great

I used her for my wedding and had the same experience - EXTREMELY talented (i received tons of compliments on my hair) but she did take a while to respond. I think she has something on her website about allowing two weeks for a response. I caught her on the comp one day too and we emailed back and forth, but that was only one time. As we got closer to the wedding she was more available.

Thanks for letting me know I am not the only one... I posted this on the 09' board as well and I hear the same from those girls... Also, someone just told me she is not booking trials for girls getting married in summer 09 yet anyway... I guess I was just trying to get a head start!
