I would recommend exchanging your money at a bank before going. Ask about the exchange rate. You will need money while you are there, but we used our credit card most of the time, and that gives you the best rate. We ran out of cash and had to go to a bank atm and it ripped us off! So, make sure to bring a decent amount.

You will love it there!!!

Just be careful we went to Greece and we also read that you get the best rate from your credit card however they forgot to mention that each charge would have a conversion fee attached to it so we actually did better having cash on hand.
