I have a fab dress that I want to change into but I don't want to change into it at the start of the recep. because I want to do out first dance and cake cutting and stuff in my main dress. I bought my second dress first because when I saw it I fell in love with it and had no idea I would find a dress that I loved better wheich is my main dress. I was thinking of not wearing the second dress at all but it has a long train and I have no idea where I can where something that fab if it's not my own wedding and although i'm planning on cutting off the train I want to wear it at least 1 time with the train before I ruin the dress. When do you think is a good time to change into it. I was thinking maybe for the last hour or so.

thats what im doing... im changing some time during the last hour of the reception... im really only changing cause im taking the coach bus back with my guests and i dont want to wear my dress on the bus and out when we get back

since you want to wear your main dress for the cake cutting, how bout right after you cut the cake you change into it? I think (not 100%) that the cake cutting is done like the last hour or so so you can change into your second dress for the last hour! dance awayyyyyyyyy in your second one!

Try speaking to your RH about what the schedule for food and the cake cutting is. We are going to do the cake cutting right after the main entree, which is going to be around 9:30. So I will change into my 2nd dress right after the cake cutting, that way I can show it off until 12:30am. HTH

lol..I didn't break the new to Miss Thang as yet but yes I am changing out of her...My 2nd dress is HOT!...It is silver and it sequence all over it with a high split. I love it..her name is Fierce!...lol....her train is really nice so I want to show it off before I cut it off.

I am changing as we enter the RH and announced as husband and wife. We are doing pics beforehand and I will have been in that dress for 4 hours or more inc CH.
I want to make an entrance in my 2nd dress...it's allll aboout meeeeeee!
My 2nd dress is long but if it were short and more partyish, I'd wait ....

maybe right b4 the start VH? if ur having 1. cut ur cake.. then run off get changed.. and as their are rolling in tables for the vh.. u walk in!

I taking pics before the wedding as well...hmmmmm, that changes things a bit........I want to do something really funny when Fh is taking off my garter so I need to have a big poofy dress to pull it off......thats another reason why i would wait.
