kind of paint did u use to paint them? Im heading to Michael's and figured need to pick this up and get cracking on my DIY projects.

I used Krylon Gold Spray paint, but that's b/c gold and white are my colors.
If you use regular acrylic paint, and want to 'shine' them up, also buy a clear colored polyurathane (sp?) or shallack (sp?)

I used regular craft paint and a cheap sponge brush. The paint runs no more than $2 and the sponge was like 50 cents. I used white paint, gold paint for the sides, and I finished the white with a pearl shimmer craft paint. You cant really see it with the rhinestones, but it came out really nice.

Flat acrylic white paint in a spray can- I did not want them to get a glare from the lights from the hall or the dj , i wanted to make sure in the pictures they were clear as day! NO sparkle or shine! and they did-!!!!

It sure did come out nice.....That came out GREAT! WOW!
