For Jericho Terrace Brides: How Flexible are they?
Okay, so I've done all my looking around and FH and I have decided that we like Jericho Terrace the best, however the price is about $15-20 out of our price range. They give you a TON of food for the price but somehow I don't feel that we will need (or want) EVERYTHING they offer.
My question is how flexible are they with removing some things from the menu to lower the price?? I know that I will have above their minimum and I know that the person I met with told me that that would help, but I wanted to get some feedback from some people who tried to work with them on price.
I'm not really up for looking cheep or silly and if they are just not willing to work with people then I just wouldn't bother.

I think jericho has more than one wedding menu. their deluxe menu is usually what's offered and is the most extensive. i've heard that there is a less pricier menu that they offer for wedding parties. perhaps you should ask them about that.
their price per head also fluctuates during the year. for example, an affair in april is $15 cheaper than an affair in may. i think the time of day also determines the price per head, as does the day of the week. we're having a late morning, afternoon wedding on a saturday because it is cheaper than having an afternoon/evening wedding.

When I booked JT they worked with us to design a menu that suited us and a price that was almost exactly what we were looking for. We went through a few different dates until we found what was right for us. Since we booked they have been so helpful, I can't wait for the showcase on Weds. Good luck you have definitly made the right choice

NEGOTIATE! tell them what you were looking to pay and of course start low! i think they would rather lose a few dollars than not book the rooms at all. JT was pretty good with working with you. If possible, ask for Rob Stevenson as your BM (or when you go back to negotiate ask to meet with Rob). He's the head BM and any price negotiating would have to go thru him first so might as well cut out the middle man and talk to him directly. he was my BM and he literally bent over backwards to make sure i was happy!
