I'm getting married in OCtober 2011 and haven't done a single thing! Well no that's a lie; i did pick a location-having a destination wedding; but haven't done much other than that! Just received quotes from various resorts; I have a mental idea of the colors I want to use

I'm not getting married in July, but this is what I've done so far:

Booked:
* RH
* Church
* Photographer/Videographer
* Florist

I also have a pretty good idea of what colors I'm going to have. Right now I'm working on finding a good band.

I'm getting married in June 2011 and so far all I have done is booked the RH. I'm going to call my church this week though. I was supposed to call last week, but I didn't get around to it.

Just the RH and DJ. Photo/video is next, but prob not until early next year!

We're buying a house now so my focus has moved, but come December, I'm searching for DJs and Photographers!!

I am aiming for a summer 2010 wedding (but since it is not in writing I figure I can come and crash the 2011 board) and all I have done is:

-Found my FH (That's essential right?, lol)
-Researched Halls (I did a tremendous amount of research)
-Picked my top 15 places I would like to see in person
-Scheduled appointments to see 5 out of those 15 places
-Chose a color scheme and general theme for the wedding
-Worried myself to death over the cost of a wedding

I'm June & booked: church,hall, photographer, DJ, & yea bought my dress, veil & tiara 7 mos ago & it's still not here haha which is fine obviously!..ps & this was all like right after we got engaged at xmas! haha gotta get those '09 prices

Im getting married July 10,2011. I already booked my RH, Limos, DJ and Photographer. Last steps are dress and florist and I have plenty of time for that.

If you are getting married in a church I would suggest that you book first with them. My church was unhappy that I was looking at an RH before setting the date with them.

we didnt leave a deposit with hall till after we checked with church - of course we didnt tell them that we were looking... they asked what date we were thinking so we told them one of the 2 the hall had open and got it!!!

hall held the date for a week so we could check with the church
