for ladies who used bathroom baskets..

Im just curious, did anyone walk off with things or the basket....

My mom doesnt want to do this bc she thinks someone will just take things out of it at the end of the night. She REFUSES to even let me buy a tide pen!

It happens, but I've never seen someone take the whole thing.

yeh, you would hope that people would be nice enough to not take things from the basket unless they really would like to use them, but at the last couple of weddings, the basket got pilfered before the first dance even happened!

things like bobby pins, nail files, and safety pins tend to be taken whether they need them right then or not.

that's why $0.99 stores come in so handy for them, you don't loose out on a lot of money if people do take things.

You can always ask the bathroom attendant to guard it for you.

I dont think anyone will walk off with the whole basket.. they may steal the tide pen

I personally would not take anything from the basket unless i absolutly need it... like a breath mint, etc.... i would use the basket for what it is for... use at the wedding.... not to take home with me and put in my bathroom!!!

I cant wait to show my mom this...there are obviously things that are meant o be taken, but im willing to lose the pen to have the basket...she is seriously paranoid!

I personally hope someone takes it...one less thing I need to deal with at the end of the night.

AGREED!! I dont think I would want it back once it has been inside of a bathroom for 5 hours

I put all stuff in it that I either had lying around the house that I will never use (lotions, billions of bobby pins, etc) and I went to the dollar store. My 2 baskets (in my DIY album) cost me $13. If I don't get them back, I won't skip a beat! For the Tide pen, check out Target...I used the wipes instead...I found a bunch of things in the travel size section over by the pharmacy for like 89 cents.

I honestly never thought of that. If they feel they are so deprived that they would need to take it, they can certainly have it

I have never seen the entire basket disappear. By the end of the night- it's pretty empty- but that's the point. If the stuff isn't used- I'll probably toss it or give it away anyway at the end. I think it's worth the $$ as people really seem to like this little touch...

I kinda agree - so what if they take the stuff? It will cost, what, $30 to make? And it's there for the guests.

Moms are silly ....
