This weekend has always had a special meaning to me as 50 years ago on Sunday would have marked my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. As many of you know, we lost Dad last year just a little over one month after their 49th. Each year, at our Memorial Day BBQ's we would have a small cake to acknowledge the beginning of my family.
My wish for you... ...may you all have the most incredible weekend filled with love and celebration. May you all be blessed with many years of happiness and children the way my parents were.
Mom told me that she had a dream today - that the two of us morphed into one bride and got married. Creepy that I just got married and her anniversary is coming up.

FH and I specifically chose 2006 to get married because it marks my parents 35th anniversary and FH's parents 30th. A special year for all of us!
