...at what time do they start doing internal exams again? I am 30 weeks and was just wondering

The last month usually, even just the last 3 weeks if memory serves me correctly

I know I still feel like I just got married I'm so nervous about the whole internal thing because I know you have to see every Dr. in the practice, but I have never had a male OB/GYN and there are 2 males and 3 females.

Its not that bad.. Trust me when you're in labor and they come in what seems like evey five minutes, yet hours apart to feel how dialated you are... You get used to it! LOL Good Luck!

Stacy my gyno my whole LIFE was a man...I actually CRIED when I told him I had to leave his practice to find somebody in New Jersey!

He was SO wonderful. You won't even know the difference. Promise!

my midwives/dr did not believe in internals until you are in labor. They were painful for me...and I didnt' even want them to do them when I was in labor...it seemed like I porgressed sooo slowly!

are you sure you need to have an internal by each doctor? from what I have heard mosts places only require you to met with each doctor but you can schedule your internals with the doctor you want.

this is the exact reason why I didn't want to go to a big practice though. why not just call and ask what the 'rules' are?

I actually had an appointment tonight Totally forgot, durh!! They said at like 36 weeks. But they want me to get another sono next week because they think he is very large I also have to call tomorrow morning to remind them to bug Quest labs for my glucose test results.
