Wow.....I just saw all the posts about your review. Please don't let it upset you. You gave a much needed review about a hall that many of us, including myself are tossing around or have booked. While some of your complaints didn't make sense to me...especially lack of food at cocktail hr., I was reminded by someone that different affairs may have different food. Especially at the thatched cottage......they have changed their packages and renovated. The stuff you see on their website is no longer. Perhaps your friend opted for less or that is what was offered when she booked. Regardless, your review was appreciated. maybe some took offense by how you said some things but then others are not as sensitive. don't let this stop anyone from an honest review.
