Who does your hair? Whose doing it for the wedding? I've tried tons of places before I found Devachan -- a wonderful salon for curly haired girls, but very expensive! My stylist there is the only one who has done my hair for 5 years, and does not do weddings, and would not travel to LI. He did recommend someone else at the salon, but it is really expensive for her to travel. So, I'm looking for someone who knows how to work with naturally curly hair, and who will not want to straighten it, or make me look like I did at my prom in the early 90's! Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I'm a curly girl but I won't be wearing my hair curly for the wedding...
My mom is a hair stylist, so she's doing it for me. Both my sister and I have curly hair, so she's used to it. lol She has a salon in Nassau, so just FM me if you're interested.

I am using Denise Venti and loved her!! I wear my hair curly every day!
My trial pics are in my albums.....I am super happy with my hair.

I normally take my curly hair to Helen at Maximus (in the Source Mall). She also did my hair for my engagement party (I have an album with photos), and I plan to have her do my hair for the wedding, too. She originally had suggested straighten it for the wedding, but when i told her i didn't want to, she said no problem, anything i want.
She's a little on the pricier side, but she cuts and styles curly hair really well!
