For Newlyweds Only: Favors

For Newlyweds Only: Favors

If you did favors for each person and not per couple, did alot of people leave them behind? I am basing my number on 300. I am inviting 370, but banking on 300. I just don't want to be stuck with extra favors. I won't mind a few, but not a 100 of them. What happened at your wedding?

Wow...that's great. May I ask what you gave out?

I think it depends on the type of favor to determine if you should do them 1 per person or 1 per couple.

We gave out full bottles of wine, and did 1 per couple. We had none left over.

What type of favor did you have in mind?

We did bottles of wine and did one per couple but I saw that some were trying to sneak an extra bottle!

We had nothing left by the end of the night!

We gave out chocolate truffles (one box per person), and only one box was left over at the end of the night.

We did golf balls with our names and a cute picture on it (our reception was at a country club and DH is a big golfer) and we didn't have any left behind. We did one per person - we figured the guys would prob use them and the woman would still have one to save if they wanted to.

I would like to have Irish Coffee Glasses personalized, but I just don't think that 1 glass per couple is the right thing to do....unfortunately.

What a cute idea to go along with your wedding venue.

Many people left the favors behind because we forgot to announce that guests may take them home, but several took more than one (we had shot glasses and coasters). We have about 25 left.

we had some left behind.... but only beacuse they put the favors out a little late

ours were soup cup style coffee mugs that said 'a cup of coffee shared with a friend is happiness tasted and time well spent' and then on the other side had our names & wedding date. we packaged them in white bags with pink ribbons & pink labels... i think there are pictures in my review

Out of 85 people, we had 6 left over

we gave one to each person, and didn't have any left behind, even though some people didn't show up which means several people took more than one.

I think it depends entirely on the type of favor you give out.
We thought we'd have lots of extras left behind, but people thought they were so cute, and came up with other uses for them that at the end people actually fought over who got the last ones
