i already registered at Bed Bath and Beyond they have the best return policy... money!

But we have to go soon and register for more things, I guess sometime in the spring.

I've registered already. BBB has a very good suggestion list of things to register for although you won't need everything they have. I found the list helpful for figuring out what we will absolutely need when we move in.

We registered back in Sept/Oct because FH's family likes to give engagment gifts. I was trying to hold off, figuring they would give money or gift cards instead, but they bugged us enough that we just did it!

I would suggest doing it soon, but that's just my opinion. You have a few months before your shower, so at least start looking around at things you like

OMG I haven't registered yet! FMIL told me I shouldn't register because things get discontinued and etc. So I haven't yet!

I actually just registered a few days ago at BBB and Fortunoff. Everyone kept yelling at me to get started!

I registered in July. I'm always adding and changing my items. If something is discontinued or not available it will let you know.

We registered for fine china and crystal right away, so that we had some things up for our e-party this past June. We still have some regular household things to register for that i will be taking care of ASAP. I would get at least your china and stemware up this way, if anyone is planning on buying you a gift any time soon, they have some options.

I'm not an October bride, just wanted to say that I registered as soon as we got engaged. People got us gifts off the registry for our engagement party and even for birthdays/holiday, etc.... so it's never too early in my opinion!
