For peeps doing a Donation Favor

How much are you donating? You don't have to say that on the card though, right?

Just 'a donation has been made in your name for the XX Charity?'

i am not doing a donation but no you don't have to put the amount on the card.

i just wanted to say that my sister went to a wedding recently & received nothing as a favor. her & her boyfriend just found out something about a donation favor. they where really upset over it. so for those doing a donation favor at least have a card that says that.

We're probably doing $5 per person, but I don't think you have to put the amount on the card, just a simple, 'we are donating to x charity in your name'.

We're splitting it between two charities; one that's close to FH's heart, and one that's close to mine.

We're thinking $500 to each charity.

We're going to have a card for each person at their place setting stating that we're doing donations, but we won't be doing into detail as to how much we're donating.

Ive also seen large announcements when you walk into a wedding that explains the donation. And no, you dont have to put a $ amount.

I'm going to have one 8x10 frame stating it and a pic of my Dad in other (he died of cancer) when they get table numbers...

We are donating to FH's brother's charity. We plan on making framed index cards, a couple per table with the charity and info but not the amount. We are thinking of maybe doing a little box of candy or a cookie per person too but not sure. HTH!

My mom is 100000000000% against just doing a donation so I think we're gonna do a candy or cookie also. She said she's going to make them so we'll see how this really goes lol

That's awesome if she can make them and hopefully more cost effective! I have been calling around for some quotes and they can be pricey! I was thinking a cookie might be easier just for storage reasons because I am afraid if it's too hot on my wedding day...chocolates will melt during the transport. I am way too paranoid though...
