Ok for the people who are going on a cruise, do you get anything mailed to u after you made your fist paymeny. FH and I have made 80% of our honeymoon and we have yet to receive any confirmation. We added the insurance, a coupel shore excursions and custom airfare so I can't really even remember how much extra it was. I am using celebrity cruises. Anyone cruising and got something beforehand?

I am not cruising for my HM but I have cruised in the past. I did not get any of my info until I was paid in full. Just wanted to let you know.

We are taking a cruise also for our HM (Royal Caribbean though) and haven't gotten confirmation yet, either. But we booked through a travel agent who happens to be FH's aunt .. so I wasn't too concerned. I can ask her if there is anything we should expect to recieved regarding confirmation, if you'd like (we've paid our balance in full already!)
My parents have taken numerous Celebrity Cruises and absolutely love them .. you'll have a blast!
We haven't been able to book shore excursions yet because they changed our itinerary around a bit, which really bugs me b/c I hear they book up VERY quickly if you wait to do it once you are on board. Hmm... gotta look into that!

Oh that's good to know. I need to go get my sheneghun(sp?) visa and I need the itinerary to take to the embassy. Thanks ladies

We haven't recived any info either. I paid in full in Feb. I spoke to the travel agent and she is going to get me info and itenary for us. We're going on the Norwegian Dawn that leaves out of New York

When taking cruises you generally don't get your cruise documents earlier than 3-6 weeks before the cruise

not going for our HM but have cruised a bunch of times. we never got our information earlier than 3 weeks before, no matter how soon we were PIF. youre going to have a blast, ive done royal carib twice and carnival once, never celebrity but i hear greattt things about them, and their food!

Just curious-- where are you going?
The schengen visa is just for Europe, right? Is it required, or just advised?

My cruise stop in Spain,croatia, france, italy and Greece. I am not an American citizen.......I don't know whther or not it is required on US citizens.

ahh, ok. i don't think it is for Amreican citezen's, my FH went on a European cruise & only needed a Visa for Russia, but that was years ago.
