We closed on ours a year ago tomorrow and its in Centereach (right on the border of South Setauket) and it was in the 300-350K range.
By moving further east we got EVERYTHING we wanted. 3 bd, 2 bth, garage, prof. lanscaped yard, CAC, new baths, full finished basement. Besides painting, we need to remodel the den and thats it. We really lucked out! Its not a huge house, but it has more than enough room for us. We plan on moving in about 5 years but if we wind up staying here forever it wouldnt be an issue either!

Oh yeah it did take us about 6 months of looking to find our house!
