I bet none of you are in this boat. My wedding is in 7 weeks and FH's mom has no dress and isn't concerned. She's treating it like she's buying a pair of socks. Its really not bothering me.

I'm glad it's not bothering you and it shouldn't. She's the one that is going to look foolish if she can't find the appropriate thing to wear.

My FH's mom has not purchase her dress yet either. We have about nine to ten weeks until our wedding. It's not bothering me either. We have other things that we need to think about.

My FMIL just and I mean just found a dress. She went to one store this weekend and found something she liked. Dont worry I mean really if she isnt on top of her game and you've tried to ask her then your work is done. We have too many other things to worry about.

If it makes you feel any better...I have less than 7 weeks, leaving Long Island in just over 6 weeks. NEITHER FMIL or my mother have their dresses...

My FMIL doesn' t have one yet either and my mother ordered herself the one dress that I completely hated in the group of 9000 that she tried on!
I went bridezilla on her for it!

I don't think my FMIL has a dress yet either. I don't care. She's a big girl & I know she won't show up in jeans so I'm just letting it be. My mom has a gorgeous dress that she looks great in & that makes me happy enough

I completely agree!! I was more worried about my mom than his.....for the record, FMIL just ordered hers last week. I'm glad you're not stressing!

oh I am...FH's mom didn't get her dress yet either. I'm not worried though....she WILL be there and wearing a dress.
