Should we go with the matte style where guests sign around the picture? Or go with the style where the picture is blown up bigger and guests sign the picture?

I think if you sign the actual picture, some of it might be hard to read...
So I chose the other way.

I'd say matte.... because there's a lot of greenery where it will probably be very dark and hard to read if people sign there!

I'm no real help - I can't decide for myself either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For this pic though, I think I'd vote matted. If they sign around you, they'll be mostly writing on green and ti wouould be kinda hard to read. So I vote matte so that you can see the pic and the siggies.

I say matte for all the same reasons everyone else has said. You would have a hard time reading the writing on the picture.

I sday go with a matte also -- it'll be easier to read what your guests wrote
We're doing this also and it might be a good idea to bring it to your RD so your bridal party can sign it there since they'll be pretty busy at the wedding -- plus it'll give your guests the idea of what to do

I guess I am in the minority! I totally understand why everyone voted for the mat, but most people just write congrats and sign their name. I think I'm doing the mat, that is if my photog lets us book our e-pics!

ah certainly not alone! I invented the 'poll' idea long before LIW....I've stalked my friends opinions for years & years now.....they are quite tired of the random phone calls as I stand alone in the mall holding one shirt & comparing it to another while standing there with the 'shopper's stare' gaze, lost & completely confused (as usual)......I am GUILTY! I cannot make decisions for myself alone!! But I can definitely decide for other people (i.e. FH!!) and on that note....I'm off to visit Mr. Sandman.....and Miss Tara I can see school's out b/c you're up past your bedtime!!
