Does it feel different? What would u have done differently? What wasn't worth it? Do u think u were to detailed? Would u have invited less people?

wow. that's a lot of loaded questions! I don't know if I can answer them all properly. It does feel different in so many ways. I feel A LOT closer to DH, even though I thought I couldn't feel any closer, it's such a different bond now. We are a team emotionally, financially, socially ... the bonds just have become that much stronger. I probable wouldn't have stressed about certain things as much as I did ... the font type on the invites, stuff like that. It was very worth it ... every minute of it, although I will say that I am happy with the amount of money I spent - I think i got some deals for getting married in January and am glad I didn't spend any extra than I did. Do I wish it was $30,000 cheaper, sure, but I couldn't do anything more to cut costs for what I wanted. I invited everyone who was important to me to the wedding. I think I would have aded a few LIW girls and a few more work friends though. At that point, what's the difference of a few more invites? And I would have really liked some of those people there too. All in all, it was an experience to plan a wedding, I'm glad I did it. I regret my bridezilla moments sometimes (especially the ones that i took out on my mother) but it all comes with the territory of planning the most important day of your life. The thing is, when it comes down to it, it's only ONE DAY, one day only and it's a party with your close friends. If you could do it cheaper or more expensive that's your choice but know that really what's most important is that you and your FH become a family on that day. It doesn't matter that the red rose was slighly more pink than burgendy or that the grandma Rose didn't want to sit anywhere near uncle jimmy... because when it's all over and after the honeymoon you and FH/DH start a LIFE TOGETHER. And that's more important than any dress, any chicken choice on the menu and any updo you can stress over.
Hope that makes sense. All the little things I stressed over don;t seem to matter now that the wedding is over. The day of the wedding, I honestly didn't care about anything but my husband and having a good time with our family & friends.

Yes it does feel different I wish I could have enjoyed myself more!! I had a great time but there were a few times where I got a little stressed out about some things that were going/went wrong and its silly to get upset b/c there is nothing you can do about it once its done. It is DEFINITLY worth it! I dont think I was to detailed... I didnt even have a timeline!!! I was so obsessed with details and being organized and in the last week I relized that whatever was important was done. whatever wasnt done obviously wasnt important. I wanted to kick back and relax and enjoy my last days as an engaged woman and that really helped me stay calm the morning of. I wouldnt have invited less people I think it was perfect just the way it was!

Does it feel different? To be honest not so much. I didn't expect it to though. We've been living togather since July of 2003. But I LOVE seeing the ring on his finger and hearing me call him 'my wife.'
What would I have done differently? I would have tried not to be so nervous and I would have tried harded to diet. That's more about the honeymoon than the wedding though.
Was it worth it? HANDS DOWN...YES
Do u think u were to detailed? Not at all. Every little bit helps.
Would u have invited less people. Defintely lot. The more the merrier...and the more gifts...hehe
Now I hope you don't mind indulging me one picture with my first #1 guy (my dad)

Does it feel any different? Nope. We lived together before...we just came right back home and plopped down on our usual places on the couch. I'm glad we lived together for a long time before though, otherwise we would have spent the first month married fighting over things we got over long ago.
Was it worth it? Yep!
Would I have been as detailed? Probably not. I don't think anyone noticed but me. It really came down to the food and company.
What would I have done differently? I would have danced more and not worried about making the table rounds.

Does it feel different? A little. We've already been living together for over 3 years, but now I have more of a sense of togetherness & true family if that makes sense. I feel like shouting from the rooftops that we're married! I LOVE hearing him call me his wife!
What would u have done differently? I would've had the hair girl get there earlier. That's it. I wouldn't change anything else.
What wasn't worth it? Do u think u were to detailed? EVERYTHING was worth it! I budgeted really well and I did A LOT of projects and special touches. Friends and family LOVED everything and commented on each thing. Because of all the special touches (I've been told), people will be talking about our wedding for a while.
Before the wedding, Dre would complain about all the things I was doing for the wedding, telling me it was too much, and why was I doing it.........I have to say, made it all worth while when leaving the reception he said that it was worthwhile and people really enjoyed everything because of everything I did!
Would u have invited less people? No. We originally planned to have a really small wedding (like 50-70 people). We wound up with 96. I think it was perfect for us. All of the important people were there to share it with us and we had a BLAST!

Does it feel different? Honestly, since I've known DH for 18 years, I just feel like I have a new pretty accessory to wear. He has been calling me his wife for quite sometime now, but I love using my new last name - proudly I may add!!
What would u have done differently? We did everything the way we wanted to do it. The only thing I wished were different, were outside photos. But I had to change my date last minute and it was freezing outside. I managed to get a few shots outside the hall but not the amount I wanted with the water in the background. Also, I always wanted my ceremony to be with the water as a backdrop and I got jipped on that too. But guess what, it didn't matter worth a damn.
What wasn't worth it? I can honestly say I enjoyed everything at my wedding. I did my best to keep costs down so I don't feel like I wasted any money. Most definately worth it! And this from a girl who never wanted to do ANY of it!!
Do u think u were to detailed? I think you need to be very detailed to know your day is going to be what you want. Make lists upon lists because that is what will help keep you sane before the wedding.
Would u have invited less people? Our guest list got cut at the last minute (due to the pregnancy and date change) but we ended up with 85 people and they were the people I truly loved. I would've liked a few LIW girls there, but WOTY was the same day. But luckily one of my best friends is a LIW'er and she was there doing a reading!
